The client wanted space for books and records. We were able to save some money by finding some solid wood Ikea bookshelves that fit, so I was able to do a window seat out of plywood with hardwood banding and trim it out in poplar to make it look built in place. It even has holes to hang plants in front of the window. Working with how out of plumb the walls were and hiding the cords for power for the stereo was a bit of a challenge, but it looks pretty seamless.
