This project was a family collaboration under Sutherland Studios, which started with my parents working together to make unique fine art furniture and art. Members of the church chose this design by my brother Shan Sutherland. Using themes we had used in other pieces in the narthex, this piece turns and twists in 3 dimensions. We literally created our own 3D router to rough shape the legs because there was no flat axis!
